School Rules & Regulations
SCHOOL RULES & REGULATIONS:
Every student should bring his/her diary to the school daily. If a student gets remarks from a teacher or the Director Principal, he or she must get it signed by parents.
The students should be in clean and proper uniform.
Students who come to the school on their own, should arrive before the first bell rings. No student is allowed to come to the school in a self driven scooter, motor cycle or car. Parents wishing to drop their wards by private vehicles are requested not to clutter up the gate of the school with vehicles.
Parents are not permitted to go to the classrooms to meet the teachers/wards. They are advised to contact the reception for any guidance/assistance.
Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities in enforcing regularity, punctuality and discipline by taking interest in their child’s progress daily. They must check the diary and the home work daily.
A record of the address of the parents or guardians is in the school office. Any change of address and telephone numbers should be communicated without delay.
IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS:
- Parents will visit the school only during visiting hours or at the appointed time in proper attire.
- Parents are not allowed to enter the unauthorised area.
- Every parent is expected to extend full co-orperation to the school staff & management in running the school smoothly.
- Parents to check the school almanac of their ward daily for any remarks from the teacher.
- Parents to maintain leave record in leave absence record page in the almanac.
- Parents are expected to send their ward in proper school uniform / school bag with proper books / note book stationery
lunch box etc. Sending the tiffin late is not permitted. - Parents to ensure that their ward arrives in the school 10 minutes before the bell rings. The late comers or those who
had been absent on the previous day / days must send letter of explanation / /leave letter along with their ward. - Every parent to carry proper ID card when they come to pick their ward from school.
- Parents to see that their ward do not bring their self driven private car / scooter / motor cycle in the school. Mobile
phones / smart watches or any other electronic item is strictly prohibited and will be confiscated by the school. Fine
will also be imposed for the same. - Every parents is expected to extend full co-operation the school for its smooth functioning.
DO’S & DON’TS FOR STUDENTS:
- Students and parents are not allowed to give gifts to any member of staff.
Books (other than school books) and magazines are not allowed in the school. - Use of any ornamental items is strictly forbidden. Students are not allowed to grow nails or use nail paint.
- Artificial/Chemical colouring of hair is strictly prohibited.
- Student’s should not indulge in unruly, violent or harmful behaviour in school.
- Students should not Wear Smart Watch or should not bring mobile phone, motor cycle, scooter or car in the school, otherwise necessary action will be taken against him/her.
- Non-Sikh boys should get their hair trimmed at regular intervals. No stylish hair style is allowed. All students are expected to be properly dressed and behave in a decent manner on all occasions.
- Students are not allowed to exchange articles, gifts, flowers etc. among themselves during the school hours or in school premises.
- Please Note: Expensive Sweet items or Sweets, chocolates are not allowed for birthday celebrations. Only Eclairs
are permitted for distribution on birthdays for class I-V only. - Students are forbidden to bring crackers, explosives and other dangerous materials to school or any other unauthorised
articles / people inside the school. - Movement between classrooms must be orderly. Students should not scream, whistle or shout in the school.
- Students should not loiter around the campus. They should be in their seats before the teacher enters the class.
- No student should move out of the class without class pass.
- Students must keep their desks, classrooms, corridors and surroundings clean and deposit litter only in the dustbins.
- Care must be taken of all school property. No student should scratch or spoil any school furniture or write or draw on walls or damage things or belongings of others. Damages done should be reported to the class teacher or the Director Principal. Any damage will result in fine and strict action against the student.
- Students are responsible for the custody of their books and belongings. They are advised not to bring any valuable articles to the school.
- Parents are requested to ensure that their child carries his/her required things to school. No lunch boxes, water bottles, books, notebooks, project work, stationery or instruments etc. will be taken at the reception to be handed over to the students for safety reasons.
- Use of unfair means during Examinations, will result in cancellation of paper.
- Parents and guardians should meet the teachers on the PTM days to discuss the progress of their ward. Students
accompanying the parents should be in proper school uniform. - Late comers will be sent back after three warnings.
- Students and parents are not allowed to give gifts to any member of staff.
ATTENDANCE:
- Parents must ensure their ward’s maintain regular attendance to school.
- Students who absent themselves from the school for any reason are required to bring leave application from the parents on the date of joining.
- No child is permitted to leave the school premises without the written permission of the Director Principal. The Director Principal’s written permission is secured through the written request of the parent at the reception. No request for half day or short leave will be entertained except in case of exigencies.
- If a student is absent for more than 10 days without leave application, his/her name will be struck off the rolls.
- Student suffering from any infectious disease is not permitted to attend the school till he/she produces a doctor’s fitness
certificate permitting him/her to return. - 75% attendance is mandatory for a student to appear in the final assessment.
MODE OF PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEE:
- Parents are advised to pay the fees by 15th of every month to avoid fine ( fee timing: 8:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m)
- If the fee is not paid in full by the 15th of the month, a fine of Rs 5/- per day will be imposed.
WITHDRAWAL FROM THE SCHOOL:
THE FOLLOWING ARE THE CONDITIONS OF WITHDRAWAL
- For any transfer, transfer certificate(T.C) one month’s prior notice in writing must be given at the school reception otherwise one month’s fee will be charged.
- A student who fails in the class for two successive years or fails twice in three years.
- A student caught cheating or using unfair means during an examination will be given zero in the subject may lead to expulsion.
- In case a student stops attending school without any information to the school authorities without any information his / her name will be struck off the school rolls within 30 days of not attending the school.
